hurray for house guests. hurray for friends willing to drive 7 hours to eat and drink with us. here are the little dears sleeping. my camera is acting strange and not focusing as sharp as it should. but that is a worry i will worry about tomorrow. for now, the task at hand is to convert this:
into a delicious meal. and below is my very handsome assistant & co-chef who will help me do it.
*not photographed are some various green things not canned or frozen.
i love thanksgiving. hope yours is happy and delicious...
happy turkey day. it all looks so very fun. i hope you have pictures of what it turned in to. i would travel seven hours to see you if i could. promise. my turkey wasn't the greatest but the corn pudding rocked. it always does. and the linzertorte was da shiznit.
so i found myself in south-western utah (thus the name of blog:SoWUT) about 2 years ago, well, sept 2005 exactly. before that i had been living in brooklyn, ny for about 5 years. long story short: i fell in love with my therapist's son, my therapist died, the therapst's son (now husband) needed to get away from ny, decides to become a pilot, finds flight school in southern ut, asks me to join him. next thing i know, we're driving in an untitled car with expired plates(gift from my father)across the usofa. and so here i am. an athiest surrounded by mormons.
